In this TopTalk interview, Sujoy shares his views on Performance Management and Feedback and how it impacts an organization.
Some key highlights of our discussion with Sujoy :
- Performance Management is an ongoing process and dialogue between the reporting manager and their reportees to evaluate, track and monitor the progress of a goal that has been set and agreed upon between them.
- Appraisal should not be an annual one-off exercise. Depending on the maturity of the organization, it should have a defined periodicity of quarterly or six months and certainly not at the end of a year.
- How the negative feedback is packaged during the communication determines how acceptable it would be to the reportees.
